Janice Everett creates in her home here in Liverpool. She loves the primitive style that works so well with older homes and new ones too to give a warm and cozy flavour.
Carla Zwicker lives and creates here in Liverpool and has for many years. She is an active member of the community and can be found at the Lunenburg Folk Art Festival with her followers every summer. No need to wait for that. You can buy her pieces right here any time of the year.
Marg Millard creates and lives in White Point, NS. She is a gifted painter in acrylics and watercolours as well.
Paula Fredericks paints with a vibrant style that combines bright and rich colors and textures sometimes using multi-media.

“Delightful Experience”
Visiting “Shore Thing Studio and Emporium” in Liverpool, NS is a must experience when visiting. Loved the smell when I entered and then I was transported into world of creativity. Every special occasion I visit for a gift to send to my family. Every item is unique and has been crafted by a talented artist. It’s almost a museum of gorgeous art and crafts from Nova Scotia. Also it’s a friendly shop with Charlie (resident pooch) greeting you. Your ‘fur friends’ are welcome as well. Prepare to be delighted

“Lovely Every Time”
As a local, I get all my gifts at shore thing! This little treasure of an emporium is a must-go-to for anything from fine art, to art supplies, handmade gift cards (I NEVER buy them from hallmark anymore) to locally crafted curios. The owner Michael does an amazing job of promoting the nearby artisans surrounding our beautiful community, and we’ve found all sorts of treasures there over the last few years. He will personally tell you a bit about the artists as you’re shopping around, and his delightful and friendly demeanour will have you wanting to linger a bit longer. I also find his prices are incredibly fair! You’d pay far more for similar goods in lunenburg county, and I appreciate that he keeps his markup fair, while supporting nearby crafters. We’re lucky to have this little shop in Liverpool!
